What is the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code is a technique to release the energetic signature of emotions that have been trapped in the body. This technique has been developed by the chiropractor Dr. Bradley Nelson over the course of his 37 years of practice. Dr. Nelson wrote a book about the Emotion Code and its Upgrade, the Body Code, in which he explains the theoretic basics of this technique as well as gives many case studies. I can most warmly recommend those books.
This techniqu includes elements of several methods like meridians, magnetism, intentionality and kinesilogy as well as making use of principles of quantum physics like non locality. Some of its aspects are further explained on this page, while the studies on others have only just started; so far we know of their usefulness only by personal experience, but cannot exactly trace the causal links. Among those are, for instance, the meridians, whose existence has been proven by thousands of years of experience in chinese medicine and which can now finally be shown via photons. Another example is the influence of magnets on the body.

About me
My name is Kinga Szilágyi. Since my youth I have been interested in medicine and traditional as well as alternative healing methods. A few years ago I had some health issues to deal with so I decided to go all the way and get a degree in alternative medicine. I have finished my training and am currently preparing for the exams. In the meantime I got certifications in a couple of techniques that so far are classified as prophylaxis a.k.a. wellness.
I am looking forward to working with my clients and hopefully be able to make a little contribution to their wellbeing.

The subconcious mind saves everything we encounter; we know this from hypnosis. In that altered mental state people remember minute details, details that usually no one concentrates on and that nobody can recall in a waking state. Making information concious, i.e. letting it pass the thalamus into the neocortex, takes a lot of energy, so the brain only does it if it deems it necessary. This assessment is flexibel. We commit everything to the subconcious mind in case it becomes important in the future.
The subconcious mind also contains information about physical processes that are running automatically. It could be a very useful source of information about the etiology of illnesses with only one restriction: language lives in the neocortex, so on this side of the boundary of conciousness. The subconcious communicates via images, symbols, emotions and vegetative reactions. This is the basis for kinesiological muscle testing, which at this point in time is not yet fully recognized by conventional medicine.
The subconcious can be likened to an archive with a very grumpy archivist who answer every question only with monosyllables: yes or no, with a positive answer strengthening the muscles ever so slightly, while a negative answer weakens them a bit. But as illness as a linguistic concept only exists in the neocortex , who knows nothing of the actual state of the body the information of which resides in the non-linguistic subconcious, we have to be smart about how we ask the questions. The subconcious can only tell us whether or not an organ is satisfied, whether function in the body run smoothly or not.
Max Planck and Einstein have shown us that firstly matter and energy are two sides of the same coin and secondly energy only condenses to form matter when it is observed. Thus follows that:
1.) What we observe consists of matter as well as energy just as everything else does. When we feel an emotion, at the same time there are processes going on on a molecular level that influence our physiology. Hormones are whizzing through our blood vessels and accelerate or slow our heartbeat, make our hands cold and sweaty, tighten or widen our pupils etc. All these parts have an energetic side as well. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed, so if this process is interrupted, if something blocks the flow of the energy, for instance, it disturbes the correspondig matter as well. The energy gets stuck in place and restricts future physiological processes. Where there is one blockage, others will be deposited more easily until the blockage is big enough to cause a physical symptom. But it can have unpleasant effects well before that:
This trapped ball of energy continues to carry the signature of the unprocessed emotion, i.e. you feel an hint of that emotion all the time in the background, like the humming of a refridgerator; after a while you get used to the sound and stop hearing it conciously. It is only after you turn it off that you realize what tranquility is actually like and how much you missed it. Until then the trapped emotion becomes part of our general condition and influences our perception.
2. Focus and intention are effective action and exert influence on material reality. In the famous double slit experiment the mere action of observing made the difference between particle and wave. And Caslav Brukner of the chair of physics at the Rudolphina Univeristy in Vienna says: "Although quantum physics was developed to describe subatomic phenomena, there is no proof for it only applying to that level of existence." And who has not turned around because they felt observed only to see that they were right?
Fortunately the subconcious is very eager to help. If we localize an energetic interference field through testing and express our intention of dissolving it, the subconcious makes sure that the body does let it go. Remember: involuntary intention was the thing that got the emotion trapped in the first place. This process is incredibly easy; so easy that our materialistic conditioning struggles to believe that something actually happened. Or it would, if there was no relief or if some of us didn't have a processing reaction to the treatment.
In the area where the emotion was trapped the body has had to - sometimes for years - find ways around it in order to fulfill its tasks. As soon as the obstacle gets removed, everything in that area gets reorganized rather quickly, back to the way nature intended, but that can be an effort and somesensitive people can feel that. Possible reactions include fatigue and a long deep sleep if you take a nap, but also a minor reverberation of the emotions on their way out of the body. There is also a possibility of little flashbacks connected to those emotions to help you process them and let go. Most clients don't experience any of that, though. They only feel calmer, relieved, more relaxed or lighter. Often they don't even notice that their symptomes have ameliorated, because the blockages have so thouroughly been dissolved that they quickly forget there ever was one. I have heard of clients forgetting that they had a symptom and thus feeling that this technique does not work, because it didn't change anything. That is why I send you the notes that I take during a session in an Email. That way you can compare your perceptionsin the days after the session and connect them to the emotions we worked on.

Variants of trapped emotions
So far I have explained how we trap unprocessed emotions in our body. Unfortunately that is not the only source for energy blockages. Epigenetics studies how strong emotions - among other things - can alter the genetic expression of our DNA. Thus it is no surprise that trapped emotions can be passed on to our children or respectively inherited from our parents. Each such emotion can, of course, get lost in genetic roulette, but it can also remain in the genetic information ofa family for douzens of generations. So we are already born with inherited trapped emotions and they tint our perception right from the start.
The third category of trapped emotions has a similar effect: the prenatal trapped emotions. These are created between conception and birth, either from our own emotional conflicts as a baby or by us absorbing negative emotions that our mother feels during her pregnancy, and sometimes even those of persons close to her.

Emotions can also be trapped in a situation where a group of people are in unusual or extreme circumstances and collectively feel the same emotions without the possibility of adequately processing them. Most of the time this concerns accidents or toxic family dynamics. These are called shared emotions.
Since emotions generate energetic field with certain signatures it stands to reason that these fields extend beyond the boundaries of the human body and thus can be walked into by other people. This way it is possible to trap other peoples emotions, especially if you already have similar trapped emotions in your system or if you are in a weakened state, for instance by a malady.
After years of practice in which sometimes Dr. Nelson would find a trapped emotion that would not fit into any known category, he introduced the concept of the preconceptional emotion. This will be a tough one for atheists. These are emotions that we brought into this incarnation from wherever we were before our conception. Whatever your worldview, I suggest to keep an open mind about it and not categorise it at all. These emotions can be released just as the others; faith does not change the outcome.
The Heartwall
As we know all too well, the heart is essential for our survival and has to be protected at all costs. That is the reason for the creation of a so called heart wall. If circumstances in life get so emotionally painful that they endanger the funcionality of the heart, the body tries to remedy that by utilising the blocking nature of trapped emotions in a constructiv way and positioning them around the heart. Either that or this is a passive process as the heart traps emotion after emotions in its vicinity that it cannot resolve. But experience has shown that there is such a thing as a heart wall and you can test if one is present. It creates more distance to the upsetting circumstances, it lowers the emotional reactivity and thus the rate at which the heart is strained. However it does not just disappear as soon as circumstances change for the better. So even when life is good an heart wall will lead to a lower emotional range, a restricted emotional perception, a feeling of an insurmountable distance between us and other people or the joys of life. It works like a cast: on the one hand it protexts the bone from further injuries, on the other hand it is a barrier for any tender contact. As long as the negative circumstances that led to the creation of a heart wall persist, the body won't let go of it. This is a good thing, we don't want to tear down the protective barrier. So the test only shows emotions that the body itself recognises as no longer useful.
The release of a heart wall emotion is mor taxing for the body than other trapped emotions. That is why we only manage to do one to five such emotions in a session. Because of this the complete dissolution of a heart wall can be a lengthy process, depending on the client's age, but it is one that is worth the effort.

How is a session structured?
I recommend drinking a glass of still water before and after a session. If you are sensitive you should organise your appointments so that you won't have to do any strenuous work afterwards.
At the start of every session we define a central goal. We then release five to ten trapped emotions in connection with that goal - or one to five if we work on the heart wall; that is usually the amount the body can take, rarely more.
During a session often thoughts will come up, or memories and related emotions. These can be commented on briefly, but not more. I am not as yet licensed for psychotherapy. That is why the duration of a session is so short.
Following the session I will send you the results via email.
In the days or - occasionally weeks - after a session the following processing reactions are possible:
-
fatigue and, if you lie down, a very prolongued nap (can be several hours)
-
reexperiencing of a weak version of the released emotions on their way out
-
remembering of related memories
